As of late a couple of friends of mine have been driving me up a wall. Read to rip out my hair and tear off my face kind of frustration. They both used to date the same guy. Now one friend is married to him and the other friend has since married someone else. Now that friend #1 and the shared guy are having problems, friend #2 has started this whole "oh, poor baby, he's so mistreated" routine. While at the same time making sure everyone knows how happy she is to married to her husband. A little too much. Friend #2 is not aware of entire situation of why Friend 1 and shared guy are having troubles. I, unfortunately am in on the whole nine yards on all three sides. Friend 2 is pumping me mercilessly for info that I won't give her. Friend 1 is pumping me to tell her everything that Friend 2 is saying. It's gotten the point that my first two voice mails of each of the last three days at work has been from them. I finally lost the grip of my temper and told Friend 2 that it's great she's married to the other guy and to keep that in mind and concentrate on that. Told Friend 1 it doesn't matter what Friend 2 is saying because she doesn't know what in the heck is going on anyway. Now both of them are ticked off at each other and at me. I should be upset, but right now---I am SO enjoying the silence. No more everything being out of proportion and even a papercut being a major surgery. Why can't some people just grow up?

Further proof that if you want real friends, avoid real life, and spend more time on the internet...

Some people need drama in their lives. Personally, I avoid it like the plague.

Drama pursues me like the plague. I don't even want to get into all the shit that is happening at work. *moans* Let's just say I should get my 50% dress code discount at Bass, Van Heusen and Izod... not just Bass.

I used to have tons of drama like that in my life all the time and I hated it, so I purposely changed my life to avoid it whenever I can. Dropping some overly childish friends helped greatly in that department.

    You have my sympathies.
